I agree. There is something about the look I like and been trying to work out why... I think it's because it's might be designed to replicate the plastic look of the toys? That's has a nostalgic edge that seems to have me liking it.

Having said that I would still far far prefer a high gloss look that you would expect on a truck paint finish. I think the dull look kind of looks cheap.

Always hard to tell through pictures, but it looked darker last night and a little brighter today. Could be time of day, I suppose. What do others think?

The details are amazing, but agree that the paint looks dull and washed out... it may just be the lighting but need to see more pics of this.

I think the paints look quite nice. The gun up pose is very awkward though.

For over $2.5k USD though, I need the pose to be perfect. I hope they show him in the other configurations.
