Damn, Amabasah, that sucks. You're talking about breakage issues, right? Not paint apps.

I am so damn lucky mine was great from the beginning. I know SS has been crushing it lately, but I don't think they can beat the XM Storm. Its really damn good.

I don’t think they should try to beat it. Just like they didn’t try to top XM’s Phoenix with their own Dark Phoenix/Phoenix Variant and instead just focused on making something different (resulting in a smaller, more focused piece), that’s how they should approach Storm. I want theirs to be good so I can have theirs and XM’s even though I’m pretty sure it’ll be the same costume (but I think we’re all hoping for straight forward silver/grey on SS’s)

the weird thing is that it was 2 different sized boxes. mine were in a plastic bag (no paper) with some foam on top. They should have had the whole thing wrapped in a lot of foam and used larger boxes.

The styro box was not well thought out. They should have taken the time to do a proper "cut out" which was engineered so that the hair did not touch anything. Mine was basically a hole cut out using an exacto knife.

oh well...I will just have the hair glued on the old one and see if someone can do a cool repaint/repair of the new one.

the good news is that I did not have to pay anything except for $25 in taxes.

That is strange.... you would think they all would have been packaged the same.

XM and Todd from SpecFic came through! Replacement head was in perfect condition. Amazing packaging.

I shipped back the damaged head this morning, Todd. Thank you and XM again for the great customer service!
