These things are actually (a little) more common than you might think. There's quite a few artists who make scrap metal Predators, Aliens, Terminators and the like in various scales. Some, like the one above, are pretty darn impressive, and in person have quite a bit of presence to boot.
And yeah, they weigh a ton. Like literally.

In venice ca there is a shop that has stuff like this, different sizes different characters, I think they had a Predator, def had an Alien and Terminator, I was there when they sold the Alien for $15k!
