Mine comes in tomorrow. I had the chance to see one Saturday at a local store, and it’s phenomenal. If mine arrives okay, it’ll be a permanent addition to my collection. I may not even keep the box, since I’d never sell.
Tweeterhead instills so many conflicting feelings. They easily could have had me as a customer for life. I remember their first Superman statue, and their response (“It’s bad, and we’re going to replace them all”) was fantastic. Better than SS. Better than Bowen. But then everything went bad, with delays and lies (the extra base for Robin) and other shenanigans. It’s amusing that the same thing is happening for this new Superman bust… their response to the paint issues has been great. But too little, too late.
They make *such* good products usually, but I can’t help but hate them because of Chad’s behavior, because of how awful their customer service is, and because of the awful (and illegal) CS policies they adopted.
Here’s the thing: Matt seems like a decent guy. But the company is just poorly run. i wrote several times about when this would ship, and I *believe* he was giving me his best information. But it’s getting here 40+ days after they charged me for shipping.
This is my last item on order from them. From now on, I’ll buy from 3rd parties like Sideshow or BBTS.

Tweeterhead is an excellent designer. Tops.
Wrangling Chinese factories and fickle customers accustomed to corporations requires a large company.

Echoing what everyone else has said, this came out PERFECT! Even if they don't do any other mounts (or vehicles), I still want a few more individual characters in this classic style. Just the scene that could be created with all of them arranged in battle would be glorious . .

No 283/500 arrived today..
I need to acclimatise him first because he is very cold and I don't want to break anything.
I only removed the top styrofoam to check for damage on Skeletor's pauldron and his staff as seen in that video but all seems fine.
Pretty quick delivery since I did not order directly from TH but a shop in Belgium.

Mine arrived. Skeletor?s shoulder armor was broken in exactly the same place as some of the others I?ve seen. It was an easy fix though, and so I just glued it rather than dealing with Tweeterhead ever again.
The piece is pretty damn great. Instantly one of my favorites.

So I opened this. Can confirm it is the phenom as everyone has said. This is why I collect statues.
Also makes it even more painful that this is out of scale with the others. Even now I'd buy it all over in matching 1/5 or even 1/4. That is how good is.
Somehow I got a nigh flawless one. Seeing as how this is packaged and assembled/glued as whole pieces it is amazing any of these are okay. And that is with my UPS driver setting this upside down. How anyone would expect those shoulder pieces to survive the journey is beyond me.
If I ever package it back up though I think I will try to find some plastic instead of the tissue paper. Just like I said in the Superman bust thread I can see a couple nitpick spots where the paper/styrofoam rubbed the paint & took it off or made it shiny.

No way man. You deserve another skele. Tweeterhead needs to be taken to task for allowing this to be shipped like it was.
Gluing a 1K piece right out of the box is a no go. Either that or a full refund. Should at least ask for store credit. Who knows but 1K nope nope nope.

Would love to show the one I paid for in full, some months ago, but apparently the concept of shipping abroad must be some kind of new previously unheard of phenomenon. Must have come as a shock. Much like providing a shipping invoice or replying to an email.
I’ve actually given up and don’t expect to hear from them. To the point that I’ve actually last week bought the regular from BBTS and would you believe it, they shipped it the next day and it arrives on Tuesday.
Apologies, just so frustrated with Tweeterhead. Fed up hearing about how they’re so much smaller than Sideshow etc. They also sell like what, 5 items?! How many do Sideshow and BBTS have to deal with..
