I actually recognize him from the reference of the bison bust! not sure if he just does reference and photos or if he's a sculptor too though

I don't think it's really fault as much as preferences. Some poeple want to have a shot at MM line or something that can stand in for not having the first 'Gief.
Others such as myself are concerned about leaning would prefer a different pose style between statues.
I don't see any "faults", though.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I don't collect this line but this looks pretty badass. I wish it was in the MM line.
I know they are all 100% digital sculpts, but this is honestly the first one where it feels like they got the face spot on.
IMO Cammy's open mouth was wierd and Vega was just "meh...". This is just perfect

Statue looks phenomenal though. No doubt about it.

If it was, I'm glad they decided to do away with it, I think it is better this way.
I'm reaching a bit here but maybe it's just the shots playing tricks on us? Difficult to say from these, guess we will see when the closer photos come out. Could be he's just dwarfing that base with his huge self?
He does look great. Going to be imposing in person.

69cm is too much. It doesn't fit in an Ikea besta.

It shouldn't, and I'm sure it doesn't.
I think this also came up in the kintaro thread with him being so wide, so it is something some people note as many collectors use the besta system to house their statues.
It would fit in the larger besta cabinets, you would just need to track down some of the right doors or go door free.
