Thanks, Fro. It honestly was a grueling 18 months, of which you are fully aware. Mark had started it and I wasn't cool with the layout, it was really flat. I had originally wanted the barn from the film in it, but, the tree turned out so fantastic, it didn't matter. I'll find a pic of what it looked like earlier and post so you can see.

Congrats Rob!! Colors look great and I like the depth. Barn would have added quite a bit though.

In retrospect, I think with this perspective, the barn would've just looked like some shed. The tree is important and I primarily wanted the focus to be on the dad playing ball with Roy. At first when I started thinking about this, I always thought the final scene at Knights field was the art to have. Since then, my son has advanced leaps and bounds in baseball and over the years, "you got a gift, Roy" has become my inspirational quote for him. It wasn't until last week that he told me for the first time that he wants to play professional baseball, so excited to hear that. This painting really means a lot to me.

I was finally able to pick up Vance Kelly's Age of Ultron print. I think it has some of the best metallics I've seen on a print. I'm really happy I was able to get it and at a great price too

I saw those Star Wars wood prints yesterday. Been trying not to buy one. I need to save my $ for NYCC.
They look great. Have never seen a print on wood. Are they as good as paper prints? Any drawbacks?

No clue. Never owned a print on wood. Most of the Mondo/Bottleneck/HCG releases have been screen prints. So these will be a little different. I'll let you know when mine arrives.
