Wolverine kit, claw advice

Hi, I'm currently building a Wolverine kit and could do with some advice on attaching the claws to the hands. The ends of the claws are very thin so I don't think I'll be able to pin them in (but maybe I'm wrong?). I was thinking of pushing some Magic Sculp into the circular holes on the hands and pushing in the claws to get a more secure holding (I'd then pull the claws pack out and leave the Sculp to dry). Then, once I've got a nice tight fit, I was thinking of using a strong apoxie glue.
Does anyone have any better suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It's been awhile since I've done any kit work and I agree that pinning would be extremely difficult.

I think I'd go with old reliable green stuff for something like this.

I love this stuff Kneadatite

Key them as you said and super glue them in place.

A delicate job no matter how you choose to do it. Good luck. Post pics when done. I'm super curious to which kit it is.

its hard to figure out a solution without being able to hold it but regardless id ditch those for some real metal ones. contact WRossi to see if he could set you up with some metal claws, i believe hes made them before for this wolverine

Will do mate, it's the one Francois (madxcollector) had done a while back. It's probably quite an ambitious project for my first kit but I'm getting there. Nearly got it all glued and pinned. I'll post the progress as I go.

Cool, thanks, I'll investigate and see what he says. I suspect they may be more difficult to work with though. I can see myself getting glue on the metal or the weight causing them to shift while they dry.

If you have a dremel, making a claw out of aluminum thin sheet would be a breeze. Even a thin acrylic board will do if you prefer to do pinning.
