Hey Chris,

I am all for glass eyes but I doubt it will happen.

Plus, the eyes are so small on these 1/3 peices that unless you are like 2 inches away, they look just fine. I love admiring these pieces but rarely get that close to notice the eyes are not glass. It would look more realistic for sure, I agree, but not a deal breaker at this scale.

I was happy with both Arnold's and Indy's eyes.

Actually, now that you said something, I remember one of my Arnold's eyes were not nearly as nice as another one's....they were not glossy and looked pretty bad. It's a shame it's more or less "pot luck" with Cinemaquette.

Now 1:1 pieces are a different story. Every 1:1 piece should have glass eyes IMO.

I am more worried about the hair, as that will really stand out if done wrong...

We've all seen the excellent eye effects on the 12" figures. A 1/6 can why not a 1/3?

Acrylic or glass eyes are a must for these maquette. The painted eyes are just cheap and looks really cheap for these high cost maquettes. Prototypes may look good but that's not the quality we'll get.

We wouldn't see that many problems if CM's passionate ENOUGH.

At this price range I would expect we should be blown away by all the details especially the eyes. Face, hairs and the eyes are key factors to making it stand out.

Like Gruson, I doubt we'll see acrylic eyes utilised on this maquette.

I doubt that too, and that 's too bad especially when you see what's been don in a 1/6 scale.

Hi everyone, long time no see, because long time no collecting

Good to see you back, V. It's been a while.

Yes, the 1:6 scale pieces from the likes of Hot Toys are really raising the bar. Companies who produce larger scale pieces should take heed.

I want to see HT take on CM with the 1:3 scale. They are taking the lead on 1:6. Why not spin off 1:3 for the high collectors?

Everybody talks about HT but what about Enterbay??? go ahead and see Vito Corleone at enterbay.com The only difference between HT and enterbay is that HT has more attractive license just that but when the final products comes out Enterbay rules!!! Hoping to see a Chris Reeve from them!, imaging those guys getting the license for Ghostbusters!!!!!

Indeed, they should: Enterbay and hot toys have increased their skills and still are increasing them. That's why, and home working priorities, made me stopped collecting, but I am keeping an eye around.
Too bad Bobby is not involved in this Superman. I would have then put money aside immediately.

Edit: Actually, I am hoping getting a good deal in business and try to get a robot from Fred Barton (other reason why I stopped :-))
