THAT would've made his signature a novelty at best or a lie at worst. I consider the signatures an endorsement of the quality I'm receiving, so I rather not have the certificates mailed to someone halfway across the country who hasn't even seen the finished production piece. Just my two cents.

APs were statues PCS would have a portion set aside from the regular production run left "blank" for number and then "AP" was applied instead of a number and Jerry signed them.
Now if there were enough "replacements" left over after delivery of the main run and they were not used as replacements these too also were signed and labeled as "AP"
The statues were possibly looked over when they opened to be signed and even then likely just by whoever was tasked to open the box not Jerry. The bases were usually arranged so he could sign a bunch and move on.
They were never pieces that received special attention or meant to be samples from which production would be approved and initiated.

They showed a signed example of the Ryu art print a couple of weeks ago. I’d like to believe it’s Jerrys signature, hopefully he can confirm.

Well Jerry's authentic signature still beats some peon's fraudulent signature trying to pass as Jerry's now doesn't it?
Jerry's merits can be praised while his demerits can be denigrated.
And there's been no *abuse*. Your parents can love you yet scolding you or even discussing it in public when you phuck up doesn't equal child abuse.
