I suppose it would’ve been nice for SS to do something similar perhaps make the tubes clear and give it a frosted over look, but for the what it is, it doesn’t look bad and still matches the rest of the overall look. Plus it could be a price point thing and the fact that production had already likely begun. I mean Freeze is suppose to ship this month.

SS went with a few of my concepts on this that were submitted with Scarecrow. Key changes was their addition of the batcape and the base. My original base concept was a semi translucent base made to look like ice with frozen police officers inside. Several frozen hands protruding from the sides. My concept didn’t include a separate globe but a small Nora snow globe in his hand that lit up and actually turned.

These concepts were originally posted to this forum where they were picked up by Igo. Shortly after I signed an NDA and within a few months started seeing renderings.

Would be great if they used my Penguin and Riddler conceptS.

I think you’re right and it didn’t stop me from buying this . I don’t see a better Freeze being made anytime soon in 1/4 scale.

The hands sticking out of the base would’ve been wicked.Or even a shattered Gotham Police officer. Would’ve been too gruesome for DC I’m sure (even though it’s happened in the comics).

/sigh Even though the P1 Freeze is this without the lightup and rotation. I would have loved it for this piece. P1 Freeze needed some kind of lightup. This base sounds killer too.
