People love to justify their decision. I agree they both look awesome . The SS has the advantage in comic accuracy tho

I think both pieces are awesome. I just prefer the comic book look of the SS piece. I'm surprised they didn't sideshowfy it.

Well said. Quite surprised by that as well. It makes me applaud the hell out of SS for not just going with the comic styling but finding a look that successfully comes off as inspired by BOTH Liefeld and Lee. That very easily could've been a sh!teshow so props to them for making the attempt.

I think this will be at least $750, maybe $800. He is too popular of a character and they know they can get it because the only competition is XM's piece which is over $1000. Deadpool Heatseeker was $700 2 years ago. This is definitely going to be in that territory.

I’m hoping this comes in below $700 USD......like between $645 to $699. Any more an I’m definitely out, as I’ve only got a maximum of two places left for comic based statues, and I’ve already got preorders for them but I’m thinking of cancelling both anyway.

And outside of the ‘Sideshow Maquettes’ why are so many people predicting high prices well north of any other premium format.

It’s always got on my nerves when collectors like CBG always posted astronomical predictions on what the preorder price would be, but now it seems every second person does the same.

I am hoping it is not too expensive as a fellow Canadian like me we have to pay so much more with shipping and duty fees.

Retail price for the XM piece was around $700 USD I thought.
