I looked at the sideshow history site and the scale is just saying "polystone diorama".

At my collection: The statue standing next to the conan fury of the beast dio and it looks like conan 1 is fighting with the ape and conan 2 is saving the girl. Without the feeling the scale would be wrong. for me its a 1/4 and maybe you got the feeling of not so tall cause the running position?

As others have pointed out, filters and lighting differences between the proto pics and production pics are definitely a contributing factor in the differences in the overall skin tone on the two pieces. The eye color differences don't bother me either. They actually look close in color on close up pics. If the piece I receive in hand looks as good as the one in the production pics, I'll be a happy collector.

So Yesterday I finally convinced my woman to let Red Sonja in our house.. She's quite nitpicky with T&A statues lol
