Just saw a video of the PCS booth. The base has the color pictures.

Yup. Finally saw it. Might just be they're still reworking the new base color. Not sure how much better a diminished color effect on those pictures will look but will know soon enough I guess.

Why are people looking to change the base colour? That's the colour of the Myers house. Anything else would be simply a terrible mistake.

They're not. They're talking about the four pictorials on the base being painted in black and white, instead of in color... or even removed entirely.

Really? It seem's a bit late in the day.
To be fair, the color pictures on the base don't do much for the piece.
What they should do is scrap the base and simply have a section of floor that is in scale with the piece.
