GOTG 3 - 10/10

Probably the most clever comic book movie to date by a wide margin. So much to unpack....exceptional.

GOTG 9/10

I need an emotional PSA before that movie. Damn I haven’t cried that much. Rocket’s backstory was as front and center as expected. Gunn did it so much justice….

I do wonder if bc AntMan and GOTG came out the same year, did Disney consciously put more effort into GOTG? Still a high level of CGI, but it didn’t look beyond fake like AntMan.

GotG 1 9.5/10
GotG 2 7.5/10
GotG 3 9/10

Such an amazing trilogy. Gunn and the crew did an amazing job. Hope Gunn is able to do this with the DC universe. I really didn't care for his Suicide Squad because it didn't feel like it had heart like he brought to all of the GotG movies. Now the Peacemaker series did have heart to it which I loved.

AIR 10/10

i dont give that score lightly, i almost gave it a 9.5 because 10 is saying its a perfect movie but honestly theres not a single thing that i think would have made it any better. maybe more jordan? but i think the way they handled that actually was better because it made him even larger than life, i dont know hard to explain. it was so fascinating seeing the backstory and origins of something so iconic. the 80s and 90s were the pinnacle of all things pop culture, sports icons included and this movie does an amazing job of capturing that buzz and excitement

I also thought Air was an excellent movie. The cast was top notch. 8/10.

i enjoyed the movie through out. had bits of suspense and tension. i just feel like they did not really know how to end it properly.

Like Water for Chocolate (1992) - When tradition prevents her from marrying the man she loves, a young woman discovers she has a unique talent for cooking.

It's overflowing with whimsical romance--and great food scenes too of course. 8/10

GotG - 9/10

Great movie. Got to see it over the weekend. Thought I'd help minimize the drop in viewership on the second weekend. LOL.

The drop was less than 50%, so it worked, good job

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. 10/10

I caught this flipping YouTube tv channels last night and hadn't seen it in a while. Special effects are a little iffy in spots but for a movie 34 years old, it is to be expected. The character work, stunts, action sequences, comedy, etc. all worked well.

Still bummed that Crystal Skull ruined this great original 3 picture arc for the character. Not sure how Dial of Destiny will be although I'm going in with super low expectations.
