Exactly my point. The sculpt of the base was brilliant but the paint application destroyed it. Thor's, although simple, is sufficient and fitting for the statue itself.

I thought the original due date was Mar, but looks like it was pushed back till end of May. Hopefully it's due to restructuring of the base...? Doubt it though....

Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with Psylocke's base. It's a different architecture from the X-Force ensemble, and one that highlights Betsy Braddock's ninja athleticism. Someone points out the base's semblance to a churro and it's good for a few laughs. The more harping I hear about it, the less amusing it becomes. In person, I expect people will see the base for what it actually is and that's a fallen pillar.
