Here is a nice reference to compare the statue proportions to the some of the original from the movie sold by Propstore several years back. Differences in lighting, angles, and pose, and camera lens, distance and photo quality should be considered, but it looks very accurate! This is the first Predator statue I am considering to add to my collection. As far as the base goes, I rewatched the movie recently and based off of how Prime 1 are advertising, the scene may take place on top of the hospital during the last combat scene. It would have been nice to see some water elements on the base to represent the rain (like puddles). Yes, the base could have been better, but at the end of the day this statue will probably be the best likeness to the Wolf Predator that we will get. Overall, this is a nice-looking statue!

Nicely made.
You did not rescale individual parts / just 2d paste ?
Then everything (besides crotch-plating) looks accurate enough.

Another thing that Prime 1 missed out on was the grey scarring on the right shoulder.
Honestly, why can't they get the minor details right? The design is so well established, and there are tons of references out there.

Laziness or they just aren't detail oriented. P1 has never struck me as particularly capable when they aren't just copying someone else's 2D or digital art to make in 3D form. Reminds me of when Sideshow tried Preds on their own, it was a disaster without Stan Winston or ADI holding their hand.

True. Even the sideshow legendary figure had that scar on the right shoulder. But again, as you said, it was sculpted by ADI.
Prime 1 statue version of the dreads are also too thick it covering his entire right shoulder from the promo pictures. We can clearly see that the actual suit dreads are much more refined and thinner.

I posted this, two pages back.
Have you seen this FB question.
Q1: Johnny "flexible silicone dreadlocks" do you confirm? Thanks
Answer: Prime (Nelson Saito):
Sorry for the confusion. We will get it corrected. Thank you so much for pointing it out.
Remark1: I was hoping for it, think they're easier to position. I imagine the Feral Predator was an exception because of the hair being too long.
Q2: The current dreads on the promo look nice too (some stiffness gives a little volume). Is Prime1 not afraid 'silicone ones' will just hang down like thin spaghetti without any volume to it ?

What are the thoughts on forum about silicone as hair ?
- is it flabby material for dreads and only will hang straight down?
- are thin strings of silicone prone to breaking over time?
- hard to paint and can easily peel/flake off again?

In all honesty, I like the hair as is. As proven with the JH statue, hair can be slightly posed with some work.

Just putting this out there, I will be on the lookout for the Patron Bonus mask if anyone is willing the sell theirs for $$$. Australia has gotten shafted with this as we cannot buy direct from Prime 1 due to battery laws.
Soooo, I will try my luck on the secondary market when the time comes ;-;

I like the dreads they've done so far. They just need to be sculpted in the right pose and glued at the proper angle, which they did on the City Hunter.
Silicone is a risk that solves a non-issue IMO.

Exactly my thoughts.
Hope they forget about silicone and just put these at the right spots and angles.
