this has to be right before it bursts. This is simply not sustainable, for the collectors and the company. I feel bad for the collectors that buy this and try to resell out down the road. There is no meat on the bone. Kotobukiya's new Magneto (which isn't anything to jump around about) is $380 and i thought that was a lot for what it is...$880 is astronomical for this statue.

Yup.
If not the end, damn near close. Or should be.

I totally agree, I PO the Koto Magneto, since the ones on the market are way higher, even the one from PCS is more than $600, which for a 1/6 scale piece it's a lot.
I think that PCS saw what the Bowen museum goes around in the second market and decided to put a high price tag on it. Hopefully the one from Kotobukiya is cheaper than this, and better sculpted now that they have the Kucharek Brothers

Uh uh ....no way man!!!
This gonna be $1000 piece that would be 83 shares of Dwac
Which is now $71 per share but was $12 this morning
So comes out to $5,916 you can potentially make then having this statue
Doesn't make sense anymore ...
$350 -$375 maybe plus shipping ...we can do business
Moreover you can never sell this piece for more than what you pay
This isn't a prime 1 venom were you buy for $900 and sell for $2500
These companies get it twisted and think customers are gonna do that with ever statue so try to get in on the extra profits

The only thing I'll say in defense of the price is that the piece is 2 feet wide, so it's sizable.

Damn it! Really wish this was priced better. Now I have to be very picky with this piece.

It's a LOT, but it's the sad tendency:
845 Iron Studios - 1/6 Wonder Woman Vs Darkseid
849 Sideshow - 1/6 Jabba the Hutt and Throne
750 XM - 1/6 Lobo Rebirth
Lobo is a good way to compare, have a moto too and is new but not too much, if XM launched Lobo today, I think it will be around 850 too.
Iron Studios all pieces are raising to astronomical prices, not only 1/6, Prime 1 too, absurd prices.
For me this pieces don't value this, so I don't buy, simple like that, that's the ONLY thing you can do to stop this bubble, or burst it. Stop buy, leave that, the only option would be charge less, the market will be adjusted to the demand.

Also as someone else pointed out, kotobukiya is working on one also. So we should have more options soon and so far they have priced their stuff better than many. Think it is in their fine art higher line of things.

I like this a lot but not enough to pay that much for a 1/6 scale statue. Sadly, this will be the end of collecting when prices are this high.
