I ordered some round led lights for my shelves to better light up my statue collection.
I was wondering if people put the light right above the statue, above and in front a but or above and in back a bit?

Kind of depends on the statue and it's pose. Best bet is to play around with the lights before installing them to find the look you prefer. You can always adjust where the statue is sitting as well dependingon how much room you have on the shelf or cabinet etc.
