best virus software
The software I use is good, but really slows down the net with it's real time scanning (it's f-secure).
I've done some checking and it's just how it is, and my computer is older and I'll not be able to upgrade for a bit.
So, windows XP, what software do you use and how does it work with your computer, particularly the internet?

You #@$*@&!%...
Kidding.
Use Mac for work and am fine with them, but not for home and can't afford one for personal use, and am getting sick of iCrap.
But I get it for those who have it.

Asked my brother who is a PC tech at a auditing firm.
SuperAntiSpyWare
Spybot
Adaware
Says with those, each one will find things the other wont.
Now how these work and what the ups and downs are for them i have no clue. he just wrote me a fast email due to being busy.

I had Spybot, Adaware, and AVG on my old computer and I still managed to get hit with tons of viruses all from one site.

oh well i just asked, figure it could help in some way.
personally i think no matter what you do on a PeeCee you are gonna get hit with crap. If i only worked on PC, i would have two HDs going or two computers. One for personal work, banking, specific web sites etc... Then the second for all the other web crap surfing etc....
Sorta what i plan to do when i buy a new mac pro this winter. Keep that for graphic work etc... Then my old mac for crappy web surfing.
