Best product for dusting?

I have a very large statue collection but I can't afford the nice glass cases to put them in. I was wondering what people are using to dust their statues on a regular basis. There are a lot of small delicate pieces that I don't want to break. What is the best product/technique?

People say steal a fresh make up brush from a GF or Wife, one of those big brushes. They are soft and can get into tiny areas without pulling the statue with it.

I use swifters for the bases and shelfs and statues that dont have pointy pieces that the swifter will pull with it.

Preferably one that has been used to apply bright red makeup.
