I haven't played part 2 either (my bro-in-law loved it) and I sold part 1 after beating it.
I should buy all three and start from 1... it'd be a fantastic ride, I'm sure.

Waiting for a sale (as usual )
I still have to go through the Severed DLC for DS2 one day...
I really enjoy the series but with the focus on co-op this time around I just hope the single player experience won't suffer since according to reviews there are many parts in the game that were ideally built for 2 people to experience

That's my real problem...I joined the Best buy gamers club last summer...Almost Every "hot" game you pre-order gets you $20-25 in rewards so all games cost me Around $42 after taxes. This one I paid $32.50, Great deals but I wind up buying so many games, I never get a chance to play them all. Have 7 on order after today already. and that's just until End of March.

My next game's probably the latest Hitman entry, to be honest.

The game is the weakest in the trilogy so far from what I've played so far...like Resident Evil and Gears Of War, atmosphere and the true nature of the game have given way to co-op, bigger guns and downloadable content shamelessly pushed in our faces from day one.
Shame...I loved Dead Space 1&2, but this is a bit pale by comparison...

Yeah, I agree, it's Micheal bay-ish.
