Other than that, I absolutely love this statue. By far my favorite Iron Man statue - the paint is gorgeous in person!

We seem to have very similar tastes-
My X-23 came in Thurs. I loved the job Tim did with Black Widow, but this one here is off the charts. It may be the smaller of the two, but everything has been stepped up. I expected quite an attractive piece from the promo shots and, unlike my experience with some SS pieces, what I saw was
exactly what I got.
Then a day later along comes Iron Man. Absolutely Outstanding! This is every bit the shell head I knew and loved in the late 70's/early 80's. The fit and finish is just perfect. Love it. Love it. LOVE IT! Very happy I didn't let this one slip past me (and it almost did).
Funny too that I noticed a chip on mine as well right on the edge of the neck. I thought It may have chipped when I first put it in (that magnet is so strong!). Maybe it shipped like that? In any case, the chip is small and masked by the collar ring once it is seated in place. I'm not concerned one bit about effects on resale value because this is something I expect I will be keeping for a long time. But i do wonder if I should cover the chip area with nail polish so as not to let air/moisture/etc seep in to the carck and compromise the rest of the head paint?
Now the only bad thing about getting two huge winners in a row is- I'm more eager not to let any other current ones that pique my interest slip by.
So, one action Thor ordered.
BTW great photos Ryan- I think they may have been what pushed me past my initial reticence and the niggling issues I've had with it.
