PSA Photobucket users

If you're a Photobucket user like myself, hosting pictures on the site and then linking them to sites like this one, they have implemented a new policy of charging for third party linkage.

You have probably noticed throughout the site that images are no longer showing, and it's due to this change in their business structure that they are now charging for it. Use Imgur instead if you need it.

Thanks for the heads up. I only stuck with PB out of pure laziness. Now I have no excuse and it's time to jump ship.

Thank you for the information. I was wondering what was going on. I just removed all of my pics from PB and opened an Imgur account. I'm in the process of moving and will just take some new pics of my collection once I get it all set up again.

Thanks for the info, just deleted my account. $399 a year for the ability to have 3rd party hosting, haha yeah.

I have a paid account and apparently I'm grandfathered in for a few months, but I've already moved all my photos off (via ftp). Going to close it down soon.

I changed to Flickr but it is irritating deleting the words that are attached to your pictures everytime; attachement name, date and your name, so I may change over to Imgur.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

For the disappointed Photobucket users which had their images missing "thanks" to their new policy change, there seems to be a solution in the form of an add-on for Mozilla and Chrome which makes the Photobucket photos visible again:

Thanks for letting us all know about this! I added it to Mozilla and it's working for me. I can see the images from Photobucket again. I'll still continue to use Imgur going forward though.
