Resurrecting a dead thread, but hopefully not a dead possibility. I am still waiting for a 1/6 89 Batwing announcement. The discussion on other forums seems to be going in the direction of 1/12, like the Nolan Bat. There is all kinds of whining about it being to expensive, or being to large to display "pathetic" If we can handle an 89 Batmobile, we can handle an 89 Batwing, I will have to sacrifice a wall, but I will make that sacrifice with pleasure.
If these dimensions are correct, a 1/6 scale would be approximately
Length 36 inches
Width 42 inches
Height 12 inches

Smaller version for me, not 1/6. The box would be absurdly big.

The body is smaller than the 89 batmobile, and the wings don't need to be attached. As a matter of fact, there should be some assembly required to minimize shipping costs, and protect the wings from damage.

There's a couple of other threads about things being too expensive.

I doubt it would be anymore expensive than an LSF, but admittedly more difficult to display. If Hot Toys made a wall mount, that would solve some of the display space issues.

If you are grossly irresponsible enough to purchase any of Sideshows LSF's, then you are the right kind of irresponsible to take on a 1/6 Batwing, throw caution, display space, and hard earned money to the wind. Join me in advocating for gross irresponsibility and a Batwing so big you wont know what the hell to do with it.

But it will be plastic. Do you want to see additional seams or latches that aren't supposed to be on the Batwing holding the wings?
