Hi Guys,

Since my inbox is filling up quickly, hopefully this will provide some clarity.

After 5 months of additional effort addressing the face, the factory wasn't coming back with anything I or Jerry would be happy to release. The expressed plan is to reboot as a larger scale piece, so we'll have a bigger canvas to create beauty, and get it exactly right for the discriminating collector.

Hang in there a little longer.

Hey everyone.

Randy has already commented but Ill reiterate.

When we originally conceptualized this piece we wanted to pack in a huge amount of detail but still keep the price at $200.

To do that we decided to make it a smaller piece...only way to achieve both requirements.

What we learned (since we were both new to polyresin) is that the piece is too small for the factory to reliably paint the face in a quality manner.

We saw a bunch of samples and the differences in the paint aps on the face varied dramatically.

Neither Randy or I want to release something that isnt right so we decided to cancel it.

We will be back with something new though

I agree with this, but if they want to have lots of detail, that would get really expensive...

If possible, just make it like Kabuki. I think people care more about scale rather than diorama.... I used to like diorama, but the small character scale kinda made me wished it was bigger. (but then again, I'm not really willing to pay the cost for 1/4 diorama, I'd bet it's going to cost at least 400 usd, maybe 500)

You should also make Ariel wings detachable. I like her without wings.

Not to offend the sculptor but a total resculpted needs to be done. Instead of having her alien arm like in "L" shape (which she is looking at it), have the arm point to something? It needs to be in a dramatic pose. The sitting pose was just boring. I do however like the base though. Make her face have character.
