Just saw the first two eps, and I have to say: I like it a lot better than some of you apparently do.
Yeah, I'd have liked there to be more "tie-in" with the 616...but at the same time, I like seeing the fringe elements of the MU. Honestly, with licensing, I'm amazed they got Sam Jackson in there at all, but I'm happy they did.
As for mentioning the 616...this is clearly part of the movie universe, which means that there's a LOT we can't assume. But they've brought in a ton of references from the films so far! Extremis, the tesseract, Thor's godliness, blah blah blah. I loved every minute of it. I'm also loving the spy-gadgetry angle. I think it's a lot of fun, and Coulson is a total kick as a character.
After watching, I firmly believe that this show is going to find its voice and settle into a very cool groove. I think more of the MU will reveal itself, and I think it'll grow its own mythoi. All that is very good stuff for this show as a Marvel property.

so far I haven't been too impressed with this show, I hope it gets a lot better really quickly
I also think Coulson is a clone or an LMD, and that he really did die in the avengers, but they are probably saving that for some big reveal later in the show

I gatta admit, I actually liked this 3rd episode. Wayyy better than the first two.
I also like how they added a few twists.
Getting better, getting better...

I liked this episode the most of the three. They were forced to very quickly develop characters outside the team and it was to the benefit of he show. A huge improvement over the first two episodes but still not quite mut see tv or me yet.

Good guest star actors can really help this show. The bad guy was kind of cheesy and not very good. They need some cameos with talented actors. That will add some legitmacy to the show.
I guess the concepts for this episode (Franklin Hall and Gravitron) have orgins from the comics. Hopefully something the writers will do more often.

Finally saw the first episode. Not blown away but a decent enough start.
Getting a bit tired of the tech/science guys though.
Those two characters reminded me a lot of Pacific Rim

Getting a tiny little bit better every episode.
The CGI effects remain fairly poor.

I really wanted to like this show, but the third episode didn't do alot for me. Didn't help that most of the focus was on the spunky new female recruit. It's all a bit too teeny for me.

Third show was much better than the first two. Finally seeming to get behind the idea of SHIELD agents vs just the supes they are wrangling.
Showing a little more promise. But I'm still hoping for a grizzled vet or two to join the squad, that would be much better than Fitz and/or Simmons
