Yeah, I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope for XM to do a non-XM style Batman

That's the reason I passed on a few XM pieces of characters I like. Costumes that are way too busy tend to turn me off. The closer to the classic costumes, the better, as far as I'm concerned.

Holding out hope this'll be a good one and ultimately there'll be a bit more choice soon for a 1/4 Batman with what other companies have in the works too.
I've mostly liked what XM have done with their classic 1/4 DC pieces so far and hopefully that carries on with Batman, Superman etc.
Also intrigued by what they'll do with their classic Joker, Tweeterhead very nearly had me but it's just too much base with the chair.

Ok, so we got a teaser pic of Superman. How about a teaser pic of this Batman piece?

I'm sure we'll get better pics soon, but for now...

I see a busy base and a lot of muscle definition, glad that there's a 1/6 version as well. I like the pose so this could be good, looking forward to seeing the full pics!

Digging that classic 1/4 Batman. Don't care about the Metal Batman on Bike.

When XM announced they had the license for a classic line, I was really excited. But with Superman and Batman now being shown, it seems the costumes are the only things classic. Modern bases and poses.

More impressed with what I can see from this than their recent Superman! Obviously will wait for more pics to see how it’ll stack up to what TH might be coming out with or QS if I feel like waiting a lifetime

Looks promising! But I definitely laughed when seeing another pile of crap on the base.
And who is that to the left, just behind the new 1/4? Thinking Devastator in the Metal line

I didn't ever take it to mean like bronze age. Figured whatever the "iconic" non-Rebirth suit is for each character, that's what they would go with.
