I could video it and let you add your commentary over the top (last thing you need is someone with my UK accent confusing the audience)

If you can record it in HD, go for it! I can convert it here for YouTube so we get the "High quality" link too, let me know

Most definitely, just need to wait for things to pick up a bit. I always keep a little side stash for emergencies but I refuse to dip in to that for toys.

No worries - my digital camera is only 5.1 mgp but provides stuff that looks great on full-screen PC viewing even on medium quality (approx 1gig for 1 hour). I can do it in the higher setting as well if you would prefer (I THINK thats about 1 gig for 30 mins).
We only need about 3-5 minutes so that should work out (max) about 85meg medium res or 170meg high res. (but I'm guessing). I would have thought the medium res would be sufficient given the way YouTube downgrade stuff.

I'm surprised more people went through with purchasing a $2K collectible with our economy in the crapper and getting worse everyday. Jobs being lost left and right, businesses closing down. I respect Dan for his decision on whats more important in life. A statue or taking care of his family. Kudos Dan!!

After some reassurance from their customer service regarding damage replacement for Canadian customers, I have decided to pull the trigger and have it shipped with UPS. I just received shipping confirmation from them!
Can't tell you how excited and NERVOUS I am and will be until this thing shows up at my door.

Did it cost you $150 USD as well? (+ around $100 USD brokerage etc on arrival?)

Obviously too modest to do it himself... I'll plug www.predatorstuff.com for him. Dan has a new review up with a little bit of new info and some massive pictures courtesy of another collector who has the Predator in hand.
Well worth the ten minutes or so it takes to view. Go see!
