Grundy is outstanding, but my eyes keep getting drawn to the background,and the title carved in the bark of the tree.

Exactly! There is so much detail in the background that it really makes the piece, IMO.

While Chris's characters are great he puts so much detail and depth in most backgrounds I consider that a second character! Badass x 10

This piece is awesome; lovin' how Grundy's kept "simple" (not discounting the detail on his arms/clothes/etc), but then Chris goes to town on the foreground/background; fantastic work.
