He felt, artistically, he had to. These two characters are too intertwined w/ their artists (the artists who carried them so far) to do any other intrepretation. I agreed w/ him. Same w/ Ploog's vision on WWbN & The Monster.
I'd very much like him to return to his personal style (see The Zombie) on Satana & Lilith.
