Just creating this thread for updates etc for all us MK fans.

Sculpt hasn't been finalised yet. She will have real chains and her staff will have a neon purple light.. v. cool.

He will also have an interchangeable hand with the torn-out heart of his victim

If you head over to Mortal Kombat Online at http://www.mortalkombatonline.com/co...s?article=1568 and scroll about half way down, you can see some reveal sculpts for 10" Mileena. She is looking perky as hell so that's looking good. MKO also mention she will have Sais made out of real steel. There will also be an inter-connecting base available through Syco so Mileena and Kitana can stand back-to-back

Sindel and Sonya to follow soon.

Also on the above MKO link is a look at the raw sculpt of the 18" Ermac. According to MKO he will have a green LED feature in his hand mimicking telekenesis.


and last of all (for now)... it has been announced that there will be a special statue made of Motaro. Mortal Kombat Online were given the oppurtunity to choose a character they wanted made, and Motaro was the victor. It will be made specially for members of the forum. I am soo pumped about that, I have always wanted a Motaro in statue form. Such a visually cool character.

The stage voting for Motaro is at now is to decide:
a) what his base shoud be
b) if he should be 'clean' or battle damage
c) if he should be holding anything in his hand.

The 1:2 scorpion bust and the 10" Kitana statue are of 2 different qualities, but that's understandable, they are also 2 different formats and 2 different price-points. A $100 statue (kitana) is pretty unheard of these days. I will be sticking predominantly to the 1:2 bust line of Syco's (and so far the 1:2's I can vouch 100% for - they are outstanding lol). But this line is still nice. There was a small break when it arrived but I'm sure Syco will fix it. My next pieces from Syco will be Ermac, Motaro, and 1:2 Shao Kahn bust

That's a cool statue... I think I see what you mean with the quality difference perhaps in that she appears to have some scratches on the left side of her buttocks plus the...I dunno what to call it, the blue thing that covers her genitals? that thing doesn't completely line up with the rest of her "panties" or whatever you wanna call 'em.

It's a cool statue though. Very, very cool. I'm looking forward to eventually having my own MK statue.

Nice statue of Kitana. I like the dark blue of her outfit and her pose.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but are the blades on her fans supposed to be real metal? I remember reading about that on Syco's website.

Yeah Kitana's design is kind of fabulous. I love the blue too.

And yes that's real metal. I reckon it's pretty light. Aluminum? I don't even know if that is officially classified as metal. haha
