Hey, Everybody!

I found this website on a search for message boards about action figures, and since I just started collecting them, this seemed to be a good place to call home on the subject.

As my profile says, I am a Christian, but I do my best to avoid beating people over the head with a Bible. I do believe in absolute truth, with God as the standard of it, so don't be surprised if my comments steer that way on occasion. I'm also a big Photoshop junkie, having learned the basics of that program when I was in college.

Other interests include retro gaming (mostly the NES, SNES, and Genesis), and Michael Jackson's music. Some of my favorite movies include Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, and The Crow.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself, and hopefully I'll find a few friends in this place. See ya around!

Welcome, I beleive you have a few shops going towards Houston that you can see many figures and statues first hand.

I always like to research my purchases which is how I found this place as well!

Houston is about two hours away by car, and I don't drive. Is there any specific place you would recommend, that would be useful for me to visit?

I would look to see if any of those stores sell online or sell on Ebay. My LCBS in Pittsburgh has a a large Ebay store and I think most comic book stores do as well. If they do not I would contact them and see if they have what you want and send pictures to you. I cannot see any comic book store not wanting to ship a sale to a customer.
