I wonder how big the base will be?
There would be ways to keep it minimal but they could go nuts, display area could be a major consideration if they go nuts.

I recall the sculptor posted here and said that overall, it takes up a space like a serving plate or a small tire.
I know, it's not exactly the best comparison, but gives the idea, it made me laugh at the time

That might be too much for me to have a spot for it.
I wonder if they could make the jockey portion something that could be displayed by itself, perhaps two display options, one with a small base attached to the jockey and you could set it into the inner portion of the larger base.

That would be great.
Like, you could display the circular base + Jockey&chair + full "telescope" thing, or just the Jockey&chair by deataching the telescope and taking the chair off the circular base.
Bad thing is that you'd still pay for the full package, but it would be nice to give the option, it's not that hard since chances are that circular base, chair and telescope are going to be separate pieces anyway.

I'm mostly concerned about the price point. Good sized Alien/Predator stuff is ALWAYS more expensive, I'm fine with it, but recently Sideshow graced us with some crazy high pricing.
If they go full retard with this on the price tag, I might as well pass on it. I'm more into Alien than Predator, but I'm quite determined to track down a P1 Maquette and see how the (eventually) re-proposed P2 Maquette comes out, so I'm all into saving since both cost big bucks.

Ohhh wow glad you guys told me this was Alien they look so damn close i can't really even tell the difference other than some of the piping and who's in the seat!!

Cant wait to see more, I LOVE ALIEN and i LOVE PREDATOR too can't wait to see more…

Unless something changes, this piece is meant to ship and arrive in people's hands as one single piece and not be one that would have to be assembled.

This piece is going to be so big that there is a chestburster hole in the chest of the jockey that your cat or possibly a small child can crawl through and hide inside.
