Port issues and shipping out short notices.

I just spoke with SSC today. Apparently we will be getting very short notices (few days only) when the statues are going to be shipped. They are going to move it out as soon as it is shipped. Sadly, this will affect people with multiple orders as everything will be clumped together.

They will be working Saturdays so everything ships out quickly because they need warehouse space.

I had no choice but to cancel my QOTD and get my refund back.

I will reorder on another day.

So for people with preorders, get ready for very short notices and make sure you have $$ in your credit card.

I thought they were so willing to help people with rescheduling their orders?

Doesn't really matter to me. Most of mine were flexed, except Catwoman. It is just hard to enjoy a piece when you have four of them dropped in your lap.
Sideshow isn't completely to blame, obviously, but they have to take some steam. Since most of these orders were delayed anyways.
AND, I still don't get the Siren delay email. I hope they aren't trying to use the Port strike as excuse for all delays.

I'm fine with that. I received notices for Keaton and Catwoman and glad will finally get them in hand. 3 more to go and only one is full payment, $154 + shipping (used points) for WW, so will not be bad on the wallet.

I'm just glad to hear they will send out notices at all. I was worried that they would just charge my card and I'd wake up someday to 2-3 shipping in one day. Even a few days notice is time enough to cancel if need be Better than no notice at all.

I had a feeling this was going to be the case. I had to switch my QoTD to flex pay because I have two more pieces, Sinestro and WW and I couldn't afford to take that big a hit.

I am sure they will send out emails to flexpayers to see if anyone wants to pay up and get the statue early.

If they could find out which ship/container the statues are on they could charter a boat and go get some.
