Beautiful sculpt for the portrait. The pose and the " new " hair don't bother me.
Hopefully she is waterproof.

I think Mera looks great, but IMO her pose looks unnatural and awkward. Hope we can get some close ups of the water she's manipulating in her hand since water can be tough to reproduce in statues.

If you do a search on youtube for Gem Mint video of the comic con they have her shown and I think she looks awesome... Here are some pictures from their video, the video quality wasn't that high, unfortunately.

I do like that XM is using the same style of bases for characters in the same family, for example, Aquaman and Mera have the same base, so does Superman and Supergirl, Batman & Catwoman, etc...
