The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Oh well.

I just preordered the JND piece, but I was hoping that either this 1/10 scale or the Hot Toys pieces that I’ve also got both on preorder could make up for the fact that the 1/3 doesn’t come with wings.

If I cancel this one, I’ll have to cancel the Cheetah as well.

But I was intending to put those two small pieces on JND’s plain white base.

Good thing I haven't ordered it yet. Time to wait for pictures but that doesn't look good

Your not going to get detail when itís 1/10 scale. It doesnít help they are using translucent resin for the face. It loses detail. Iím cancelling this and maybe go with Queens 1/4 version.

Ouch. I prefer to think that the photos are really bad.
Regarding portraits, all the 1/10 IS I own are good/very good.

I'm not sure that's true. Obviously not the detail capable in larger scale pieces but I think Kotobukiya have done some nice work at 1:10.
I think it just comes down to whether you have the right sculptors/painters, material, processes and factories.

I love the Bugs Bunny teeth in the helmeted version.

But don't forget, you could always display with dramatic lighting like the teaser image:
