I usually get these on major discount. I picked up SC3 new for like $12. I like the character design and some of the music more than the actual game I think. I really don't like the inclusion of other characters from other games and movies in this series. Besides I think Taki is out in this version. That's almost like leaving Chun Li out of a Street Fighter game...

ill get it when i can, way to much going on with my new house to even play games atm. Once i sell some stuff on ebay in a month or two ill pick it up.

I don't have enough time or patience to memorize moves and tecniques on a new fighter. I'm pretty much married to Street Fighter with an occasional fling with Mortal Kombat, but even then I feel cheap and dirty.

I will wait until it's on sale.
Even though Soul Calibur is one of my favorite beat em up games I never buy a game on release day, I always get my games on sale.

Yeah soul calibur 5 is pretty fun, but I dont have a blast when I play it like I do with sf4, mk9 and umvsc3. It falls under the category of tekken and KOF, I like them but they just arent as good IMO
I bought SC5 day one because i was expecting lots of single player modes like they usually have but i was very dissappointed, its the worst single player experience theyve done, i miss the old chronicle of the sword or whatever it was, and Ezio is a really lame guest I think

I have the Collectors Edition and I love it. Personally, I don't remember the modes in 2 and 3, but this far and away blows away 4 in every aspect. In fact, I cannot think of one thing that 4 did better than this.
I have an awesome time making custom characters, some I made up, and some taken from comics/movies/video games.
Tonight, I just made a 95% perfect Angelus, Lady Mechanika and Soulfire Grace!

Soul Calibur 3 had that campaign story mode.
I liked that and missed that in SC 4.
I was hoping it would be brought back in SC 5.

Havent played this yet but really want too pick it up. always loved SC and the last i played with guests Vader Starkiller and Yoda was like a dream come true. i like the custom characters but story mode needs to come back.
