As for the sword, I had only seen the movie in the cinemas and had very little referance to go by on it or any thing else, as there were no other Blade kits available I decided to do my own, it was only when a friend told me it looked ok, I thought I'd get somone to cast it up and see what happened.
When you bought it was it a pre paint or in kit form.

some time ago I did a life size Blade, using the Howard Studio's bust, it was my first atempt at 1/1 scale, I've also done a Hellboy, Wolverine and Crow.

Of course I have. Maybe you could use the search tool to find topics I started. There are some works I did. Not all, but some.

It actually does look nice. Physique was not off. Look at the pictures from the Comic Con (attached)... spare gun... spare head... cyclone stand. Can't believe this was never made and only the Fine Art Bust was.

Anyone else want this done by Kotobukiya? Blade never got the fine art statue treatment!
