10" Gears of War Boomer

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts at the section, been pretty busy!!!, but I am glad I can debut the section with this piece: the massive fat bastard Boomer from the Gears of war game, measuring 10 and something inches, done in epoxy, sculpey and styrene. Commissioned by Midzeye studio that will release it as a part of GOW CC bronze and platinum statue series licensed by Epic Games. A pain in the ass to do, but it worth the effort, I have to specially thank to Pete from mindzeye to give me the right directions when I was lost in the design. We had the zbrush file, and all the parts of the body dissambled so it was a real pain to follow so many things!! Pete also sculpted the great base were the fat pig stands!
I hope you like it...for more finished pictures take a look at midzeye site http://www.mindzeyestudios.com/gearsofwar/

close ups here: http://www.alterton.com/other/boomercollage.jpg

Thanks for looking

Alterton: this thing is dripping with detail. Spectacularly beautiful work! I wish Mindzeye would have commissioned you to do bigger pieces. That being said, is the 10" height of the sculpt inclusive of the base? Thanks for sharing, amigo!
