I did. And we had the online tickets which was supposed to secure easy entry. Until you get there and are put in the same line with the 10,000 people looking to buy a ticket that day. It's a joke and I wouldn't expect it to be any better with Shatner there.

I'm a bit concerned with Shatner attending too. Might just go on the Friday,that was the least crowded of the three days last year. Could end up with 10,000 Trekies looking for tickets on the weekend.

The last Motor City Con I went to didn't have those issues. Of course it was in 1994 . . .

More taffic now!  The lasting image I have from the Saturday of last years con was that of dozens of people walking over a mile and a half because the parking was full. By now I would have already ordered my tickets.I really want to hear that this will be a smooth,issue free event before I commit. Once bitten twice shy.
