It was a fluke. A friend of mine had ordered the set from some online site and it arrived damaged, so they let him keep the damaged set and sent him a new one. It turned out that the damage only extended to the packaging, and the disks all played fine. He offered the set to me for free but I gave him 20.00. I figured 7 Harry Potter movies on Blu Ray was more than worth it for 20.00, even with a damaged case.

If it had been a special deal I would have posted it here for sure.

Cap was $15.99 this weekend, but shot back up to $19.99, I'm sure it will drop back down by weekend.

Check the pricing drops at Bluray.com to find out the latest deals. They do tend to fluctuate, from hour to hour, and day to day.
Good to know, thanks!

Nice. I could give a hoot about the packaging. For $20 that's a deal.

So far I've gotten:

Captain America
Memento
Jurassic Park Trilogy
Dollhouse Season 1
Dollhouse Season 2
Office Space ($4.99 this morning)

Need to pick up:
Transformers DOTM
Fast Five
Super 8

Still hoping for good deals on:

HP7 pt. 2
Green Lantern
POTC: OST

I haven't heard anything mentioned about Green Lantern in any of the sales promos, kind of surprised.

I hear you there, I've got my fingers crossed to grab those two and Thor for $10-15, although honestly I'm just pumped to have gotten the Jurassic Park Trilogy for $29.99.

are pretty good on those no? Are you waiting for something better? I think if they were going to go lower we'd have heard about it by now but I could be wrong.

No, I'm not sure why I haven't just pulled the trigger.

Super 8 is a blind buy, I never got around to seeing it, but I'm a big JJ Abrams fan and a huge 80's Spielberg fan. I guess I just got used to not blind buying anymore, but I heard enough good things from people I trust to just get it, so I probably will.

Fast Five I really want to get, but I'm holding on to see if Amazon price matches Wal-Mart @ $9.99, although I may not risk it and just get it. Same with Transformers, just waiting to see if it drops another couple of bucks, but will probably just get it now.

Man, I've gotten to be such a penny pincher on some of these!

I hear ya on the penny pinching. I think you and I have just seen it to many times where if we would have waited just a little bit longer we'd have saved even more and in the end it all adds up to the more you save the more you can justify buying.

RE: Super 8, it was a blind buy for me as well but I felt a safe one given I'm a big Abrams fan like yourself. Really wanted to catch this one in the theater but for whatever reason didn't. Looking forward to watching this BD immensely. Its supposed to be reference quality material.
