I would rank Wolverine fourth behind Spider-Man, Batman and Superman. Dr. Doom and Hulk should be much higher than Nos. 18 and 19. They're definitely top 10.

Does anyone even read Wizard anymore? There list is not relevent in my opinion. Polls or surveys would be valid, but any joe schmoe can come up with their own list.

Wolverine, as much as I love him, is not number 1.
Spidey/supes/Batman own those three spots in whatever order you want to put them. Hulk and wonder woman should be in the top ten too

I think Wolverine at the #1 spot is accurate because of all of the exposure he got from the live action X-MEN movies. Everybody likes a badass.

exposure doesn't make somebody great, and i don't think anybody would argue too hard against him getting a fairly high spot on the list (i'm personally not that big a fan as he's essentially just every "tough guy with a good heart" cliche thrown into one character) but theres no way he's the best character ever made....he's not even the best x-man ever made
