Irregardless, her ruffled shirt at her mid section has no real sex appeal - which robs the reason for a female Terminator being created by Sideshow in the first place imo

Indeed, good eye. I do love me some battle damage terminators. I love the reminder, this is a machine! it helps restore the horror aspect of the first film.

If only there was a thing called internet with a thing called porn on it, it would save some of these guys hundreds/thousands of dollars!

Or maybe when someone wanted to do an original female Terminator with full creative power?

Not sure why female has to = sex.

She's another example of why SEX isn't always the answer, nor should it be some definitive thing for every female statue.

You can spin it however you want, but Lady Maria proves the point well enough that you don't need some scantily clad woman to sell (I never a look a statue just for this). Bloodborne is niche as hell, yet it has appeal great enough to sell as well as it did. In addition to that, Maria is great character in terms of the lore.

We don't even know how the Rebel PF looks other than some modified image. It still doesn't tell us the color, base design, and switch-outs if any.

I'm also not saying that sex doesn't sell, it's not my point.

What I'm saying is that sex is not law that every female statue needs to follow to sell.
Trust me, this crusade isn't worth your time. I know. The trogs that consider themselves human, and unfortunately make up a large vocal part of this forum, clearly buy statues to fulfill the sexual hole they can't service in the real world.

For these pathetic individuals sex does indeed sell, and art and any other aspect of the statue collecting is a distant second consideration, or an accident.

The real shame in all of this, is that these grunts will dictate what the statue industry produces, and will continue to propagate a very singular view of women in the fantasy worlds.

I'm looking forward to this piece, and I hope it's not over sexualized, but a realistic rendition of what a cyborg operator might look like!

If this cyborg operator is being used to hunt and kill men, she's going to look gorgeous so her prey is naturally inclined to come to her. Maybe she'll even be as hot, or even hotter, than Kristanna Loken.

statement proves my point.

So where in Terminator "universe" canon, does it say that only men survived the initial war with the machines?

Oh, sorry, I forgot - Sex sells...... yawn.

If I was a bigger Terminator fan I would probably get this. Looks kind of gritty. Glad it isn’t Aaanuuld! or yet another endo-skeleton. SS seems to do better with the females lately than the males.

I really like what I am seeing with this piece. A fresh entry in the line is always welcome. It's getting old seeing another T-800 or Arnold statue. The Terminator universe is has so much potential for some really great pieces.

Personally I'm still hoping to see the definitive T-800. It gets a lot of attention sure, but not too much to shout about since the CM maybe. Prime 1 will no doubt show something awesome now they have the license. And Sideshow themselves teased another T-800 with two rifles ages ago that looked promising. Maybe that one is still in the works. This looks cool, but with prices where they are now for PF's, I'm not sure I'll actually buy much stuff like this unless it really impresses.

EDIT... This one in the middle. Clearly the left one was adapted for the T1 maquette. I'm hoping the middle concept wasn't binned, but was instead used for the new T2 statue that was said to be planned.
