The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

What an absolute disappointment. This is going to have to be repainted so that's $1,000+ more to drop.

I bet you could have paid another $1000 right off the bat to get that paint job, but immnot sure how many others would.

You could also just not have the statue.

They may as well have charged that then doing this bait / switch. It'll be a hell of a lot less to deal with than shipping a piece back and forth.
This sculpt deserved the best.

Yeah, that's why I'm cancelling it.

I will say this - the skin tone is damn good. I didn’t expect that.
BUT the part I loved most about this statue was the face. That “-----, please” expression in her eyes. And that is gone. Even her lips aren’t as full as they were before. *sigh*
Mad props to the skin tone department. Somebody write a letter to the make-up counter because they need some assistance.

It’s a softer look, but I think I prefer it.

Don't know why people get married to the PO protos anymore, especially with delicate facial nuances, too much can change.

Never expected it to live up to the prototype (it was just too good), but I'm still more than happy if that's what we get - still better than most female portraits.
And to be fair, it wasn't her face that convinced me to PO this piece.

It is a softer look, NM. And it’s a well done softer look. It’s just not what I wanted in her.
I’m still curious to see in hand pics without the Sideshow lighting. Maybe there are some surprises in store and she still has that sassy, sultry, fierce look I wanted.
As for PO vs Proto pieces, I know things change. Sometimes for the better. IMO Silver Surfer and Rogue both turned out better in production than proto (based on pics).

Some of the new pics do have the more mature, exotic, and commanding look.
