Thumbs up Masters of the Universe: Revolution

Official trailer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHC-VTmLlpU

3 out of 5 episodes in for the new season (or series, as it's listed separately on Netflix), will watch the rest after work today.

Not only is this what the first season should've been, but they're getting into some of the more lore-heavy stuff that the 2002 cartoon was flirting with just before it was cancelled. And of course, the Horde which is what 2002's third season would have covered.

I'd call this a return to form that's more grounded in the canon of the toys, '80s mini comics, and previous shows. And as someone who grew up on the 2002 series, the tone and story implications of this season are exciting.

And no, neither He-Man nor Adam are absent.

The trailer did look like more fun this time around, I just have a hard time tuning in after the crap they pulled last time both in the series and what they were saying about folks with issues outside.

I just finished watching all 5 episodes and really enjoyed the series. A nice cliffhanger... here's hoping they are able to follow up on it.

That?s why I have not watched it either. Not so much that they created an abomination the first time around but the response they gave on it.

exactly, not liking something is one thing but when the creators go out of their way to tell me how horrible i am for not and how terrible the original version was it kind of ruins any drive i have to give them another shot even if they do try and improve.

Really enjoyed this season so far. The animation is very nice, and I love the saturated colors. Just fun to watch. Lots of lore exploration, which I am a fan of too.

this is almost pretty great but i hate what they did with skeletor and i think one of the things i like most about MOTU is the element of magic. all this techno stuff just seems so out of place in eternia. ill watch to the end and hope for the best, way better than the first season at least
