Other than the chips what makes you think it's a return?

Some items may be returned. Sideshow has admitted to me as much. However, the factories seem to toss things around carelessly, and things do slip by QC.

I got a replacement body for my alpha, everything went fine. I've had replacements turn out bad but that's like 1 in every 10 for me. I will usually try replacements happily as long as I can get a refund if it doesn't work out.

Sure could be a return but I've had plenty come straight from PCS with face chips.

On opening the brown shipper box, the top piece of polystyrene was not the size of the top of the box.
It was half the size with broken of ends, like it came from somewhere else?

PCS used black XM style straps on the Alpha packaging. The replacement had the straps + clear tape around the 'some' of the edges.
The original i received from PCS had no tape, just straps.

Sticking out of Alpha's costume was what appeared to be a white hair, possibly a cat's hair. I guess new production pieces could ship with cat hair's also.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Chun-Li 1/3 Alpha - Update

Sideshow CS has been in touch. Since Alpha long sold out, there were 2 options on the table:
1. Return for a refund (this option could take forever)
2. Accept $45.00

I accepted the $45, as i waited 2 years for this piece. I wonder what happened to the Alpha i returned with the perfect portrait?

Thank you for your email and patience. Please know that the Chun-Li
replacement piece sent to you was a brand new, sealed item prior to
inspection and passed QC at that time. That said, I'm sorry to hear you are
unhappy with the new item and that it may have gotten damaged in transit.

Unfortunately, this item is now sold out and we do not have another
replacement Alpha statue. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause
you.

I don't believe the replacement was brand new, for reasons mentioned in a previous post.

Ajax? The only thing I can find related to that is a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I, too, would be worried it'd remove paint underneath. Has anyone tried this with success without damaging the paint?
