My Dad passed away...
I'm not exactly sure what to say as I type this. I always thought my father would be around forever. I just dont know what to do. My dad was never in the greatest of health but I always assumed that he would be here for many years to come...I am just writing this not only to vent but as a warning to all those that have not talked to their dad or mom in awile. Make sure that you dont take them for granted....Let them know how much you care...

I am so sorry for what you are going thru sadly I know how it is I lost my father when I was 12 and my mother when I was 19 I am 40 now so they have been missing from my life for longer than I had them.... I cannot tell people how much it is that they are lucky to still have their parents and to be sure and let them know that you love them.
Each day is a gift and I think at times we all forget that no one is guaranteed a certain time here on this planet. My heart goes out to you and your family it truly does

I'm very sorry to hear this. I don't know you or what your relationship was with your dad, but either way I'm sure it's a difficult situation. Thanks for sharing this with us, I hope you can find at least a little consolation in knowing that you and your family will be in our thoughts.
