The teaser is creepy but I really liked how actor Freddie Highmore effectively managed to give out the Anthony Perkins vibe in that short teaser alone.

I am seeing this as Melrose Place, only someone dies every episode, or maybe every few episodes. Wondering if it will be all drama, or more like dark comedy. Definitely plan to watch the pilot.

yeah this looks to be killer.
i think this may be a very good series.
actually pretty cool to see how ol Norman became Norman.
i just hope the series last long enough to where you find out what happens to Normans mom.

I like what they did to begin the series, lots of potential story arcs. The actress who plays Mrs Bates just blew me away. Such a complex character and she does a great job bringing her to life.
Spoiler alert
I liked how right away in the first five minutes they are already showing you she must have killed her husband. That look she gives in the bathroom was perfect.
