Knew you'd love it.

This is one gigantic grab bag of awesomeness disguised as your run of the mill slasher film. And when I say "disguised" I'm talking about the cheapest disguise you could ever find, we're talking clearance rack at the $.99 Store. It very quickly becomes obvious that this is NOT your "run of the mill slasher film", what it actually is is not made entirely clear until late in the film, and even then your head will be spinning too much to care.
If you're a horror fan of any kind, there's something in this for you, heck.. there's even a unicorn!

People seem to have enjoyed Cabin in the Woods far more than I did.
What is wrong with all of you?

Hellboy and I have good taste in movies; Marvelito? Well.. he tries his best.
You didn't like it? Different strokes, sure.. but you can't deny the movie was an original concept, at least?
Ugh... it's impossible to talk about without ruining it.

Battleship: 3/10 - I'll admit it had some cool FX but the story was rubbish, and the script and acting were terrible. It may as well have been titled Transformers 4. I saw it last night with two of my mates, and I think their comments pretty well sum it up . . . "F.......g Michael Bay has a lot to answer for" and "That movie had no redeeming qualities what-so-ever"

I'll give Cabin in the Woods points for originality and fun, but once you accept the central concept of the film, I didn't feel they went much beyond it. I wanted more.
Maybe I just need to see it again.
