If they were into that, we'd have a rubber man by now. Lol
Look at the Power Girl PF for example. It has the same ES as the new GL PF(which still hasn't sold out the ex). You have to scroll down a list of popular DC characters pretty far before you find Power Girl yet it has the same numbers as Hal Jordon... That doesn't seem right. Now imagine if they did a Dr. Fate PF. That would have an Es of about 15 because nobody is paying $500US for a Dr. Fate PF(no offence Dr. Fate fans).
Everyone's calling this "cheesecake" and that's because that's what it is.

The female villain DC pfs es are higher than the male villains too. I wouldn't call Black Canary a risky character since she's more mainstream because of the Arrow TV show and she was on the JL cartoon. Lobo and Sinestro I would say were risky since they weren't mainstream to the average person.

Execpt that Sinestro was in crappy GL film, and Lobo was in both SupermanTAS and Justice League unlimited.

I like to think there was never a GL film Lobo was risky character to do because of the price but they knocked the sculpt out of the park.

Exactly where I am on it. I would've preferred a more powerful pose, akin to how they approached Wonder Woman. In all honesty Black Canary has been a more serious character, and not one that really treats on her looks, for a couple decades now.

I like it!! I might be swayed because I'm SOOO HAPPY that they went with the old school mix of blue and black with the folded boots!
Yes, it is very cheesecake, but I think it's a nice change of pace from the very serious poses they have put all their ladies into. BC has had her fun moments, and as long as the rest of the BoP ladies look this good and blend together it will be fine.
I know we are getting Huntress, but are we going to get Oracle and Lady Blackhawk?

I think sideshow did a perfect representation of black canary in this piece.
Is the jacket a sculpt or cloth? In any case it is spot on and beautifully done.

I think what the artist/designer(s) here are channeling is something like this
In fact, I'm convinced of it. And I gotta say, it's not only playfully sexy. It's also witty and elegantly simple. I haven't been this impressed since Sonja last year, and I'm sure this is going to be a huge hit at SDCC just like that one was.

The big difference being that BC's hip is thrown wide, which is only to serve her sexuality, and her hand is actually on her butt, not her hip.
